This Privacy Policy explains how Stream Beacon handles information for Android app package com.sluice.streambeacon.

Data Collection and Sharing

Stream Beacon does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information with the developer or third parties.

The app does not require account creation and does not send personal data to developer-operated servers.

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and lower): used only to let you choose local images for in-app visuals.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: used to display the on-screen status overlay.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE, WAKE_LOCK, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: used to keep status monitoring active and restore behavior after restart.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used to check network connectivity state for app behavior.

Permissions are used only for app functionality and not for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.

Stream Beacon does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs for user tracking.

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because Stream Beacon does not collect personal data to developer servers, there is no developer-hosted personal data set to retain or delete.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
